Saint Lawrence is a village on Gozo Island, Malta.
This village's soccer team is called St. Lawrence Spurs. Established in 1968, this team took part in 3 successive seasons namely 1968/69, 1969/70, 1970/71. After that the team had to call it a day because a lot of players immigrated to Australia. In 1985 the team was established once more this time in conjunction with the village of Gharb and took part in the 1985/86 season. The next years both villages chose headed to different directions and formed their own team. This lead to the renaissance of St. Laurence Spurs as one independent team. Since the 1986/1987 season St. Laurence Spurs always competed in the league organized by the G.F.A, which the footballing body for gozitan football.
