Såka (Sokoja in Finnish) It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of Kokkola (Karleby in swedish). Såka has a population of 900 and covers an area 40 km². Såka consists of five different areas. Övre-Såka, Såka, Wentjärvi, Koivisto, Rasmus. There are however some people who claim that Åivo is a part of Såka, but this statement is false. The oldest barn in Finland (1748) built out of stone is located in the Rasmus area as well as the architectonically remarkable Rasmus house (built 1779) made out of bricks. The financial center in Såka is located in an area between the Såka and Wentjärvi areas, which is called Kork/Solbacka or as 90% of the finnish population more often call it "Såka city". Why this is the most remarkable and single most important area is because this is the center for logistics in the entire Såka, and also because the Såka camping area is located here.
