Sam Lloyd is an actor, perhaps best known for his portrayal of beaten down lawyer Ted Buckland on the Bill Lawrence sitcom Scrubs. He also made a guest appearance on Seinfeld (episodes: "The Cigar Store Indian," "The Pie") as a man obsessed with television who tries to woo Elaine, and appeared in two episodes of The West Wing as a conspiracy theorist adamant about his belief that the White House has information about extra-terrestrial activity. He recently appeared on Desperate Housewives as an injured psychiatrist who falls victim to a demented suitor of Bree's. Lloyd's character contained a surprising amount of compassion for the perpetrator, despite being on a hospital bed with a broken leg.
Lloyd is the nephew of Back to the Future and Suburban Commando star Christopher Lloyd.
