Sanada Nobuyuki

Sanada Nobuyuki (1566-1658) (真田信之)was the son of Sanada Masayuki, and the older brother of Yukimura Sanada. During the Battle of Sekigahara, he was sent by Masayuki to fight in the eastern side; Masayuki and Yukimura remained on the western side. After the western forces was defeated by Tokugawa Ieyasu, Nobuyuki used his position to save his father and brother's lives.
He married the Togukawa princess, Ina, making Nobuyuki the son-in-law of Takadatsu Honda and Ieyasu Tokugawa (Ieyasu adopted Ina)
Nobuyuki was not a well recognized warrior, but he was known for keeping the Sanada clan alive until the late 19th century.
