The town's charm and uniqueness, combined with its ideal location, makes Sandwich an attractive place to both visit and live.
Sandwich's beaches along Cape Cod Bay stretch for miles and provide wonderful ocean vistas and views of many vessels passing through on their way to and from the Boston area. Commercial fishermen and lobstermen can be seen unloading their catches at the docks of the Sandwich Marina, the only harbor along the Canal.
Not too far from the marina is historic Sandwich Village.
