Sasayama (篠山市; -shi) is a city located in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.

The city was founded on April 1, 1999 by merging the towns of Sasayama, Nishiki, Tannan and Konda from Taki District.

As of 2005, the city has an estimated population of 47,178 and a density of 125 persons per km². The total area is 377.61 km².
