Satake Yoshiaki

Satake Yoshiaki (1531-1565) was the eldest son of Satake Yoshiatsu. At an early time, Yoshiaki defeated an allied Yuki-Ashina army, along with taking the region of Yuki. Later on, Yoshiaki married the daughter of Utsunomiya Hirotsuna, who at the time was expelled by the Nasu. Yoshiaki then reclaimed Hirotsuna's territory and established the latter there around 1557.

This process increased the domain of the Satake. The following year, Yoshiaki scored another victory by defeating the Oda officer, Oda Ujiharu. Afterwards, Yoshiaki was included in a campaign against the Soma. After the campaign, Yoshiaki's heath began to fail, and he passed on leadership to his son, Yoshishige in the year of 1562. Three years later, Yoshiaki ended up dying due to his bad health.
