Satomi Yoshihiro

Satomi Yoshihiro (1529-1578) was the eldest son of Satomi Yoshitaka. During the Uesugi encirclement of Odawara in 1561, Yoshihiro assisted, but later met defeat at the 2nd Battle of Konodai. Yoshihiro afterwards allied with Takeda Shingen, and fought against the Hojo at Ota in 1567. To assist the operation's of the Takeda against that of the Hojo in 1570, Yoshihiro sent troops by sea to the Izu Province. Yoshihiro suddenly died during the year of 1578, without a son, due to a stomach ulcer. Due to Yoshihiro having no son to succeed him, he was instead succeeded by his younger brother, Satomi Yoshiyori.
