The Savannah Sand Gnats are a minor league baseball team in Savannah, Georgia. They are a Class A team in the South Atlantic League and have been a farm team of the Washington Nationals since 2003. The Sand Gnats play home games at Grayson Stadium. Opened in 1927, Grayson Stadium seats 8,000 fans.

The Sand Gnats have won three SAL championships (1993, 1994, 1997).

Borat

The Gnats have the honor of being visited by Borat, a fictitious Kazakh reporter who is the alter ego of British comedian Sacha Baron Cohen. Borat performed a (fake) Kazakhstan national anthem before a game and wrestled with some of the team in the locker room.
