Sawaan or Shraavanais a month of the Hindu calendar. In India's national civil calendar, Shraavan is the fifth month of the year, beginning on 23 July and ending on 22 August. see Shraavana for further details.

Sawan is a fifth month in the Nanakshahi calendar, which govern the activities within Sikhism. This month coincides with July - August of the Western/Georgian/Julian Calendar and is 31 days long.
