Scirians (cf. Shire) were the collective name for a number of Germanic groups in Eastern Europe. During the 4th century, they were living in the Carpathians, where they were defeated by the Huns. Thereafter, they were part of the Ostrogoths.

Odoacer, the first "king of Italy," was half-Scirian.
