Sclerosis

Sclerosis is a hardening of tissue, and can refer to:
- multiple sclerosis, a central nervous system disease which affects coordination
- hippocampal sclerosis, a brain damage oftenly seen in individuals with temporal lobe epilepsy
- systemic sclerosis (progressive systemic scleroderma), a rare, chronic disease which affects the skin, an in some cases also blood vessels and internal organs
- amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a progressive, incurable, usually fatal disease of motor neurons. Steven Hawking suffers from this disease.
