Scott Padgett

Scott Anthony Padgett (born April 19, 1976 in Louisville, Kentucky) is a basketball player in the NBA currently with the New Jersey Nets.

Padgett was selected with the 28th pick by the Utah Jazz in the 1999 NBA Draft out of the University of Kentucky. The 6'9", 240lb small forward played with the Jazz for four seasons before signing with the Rockets in 2003, where he had mainly been utilised as a backup. In 2005 Padgett signed with the New Jersey Nets. On June 30, 2006, he was waived by the New Jersey Nets.

Scott was born to Linda and William Padgett. He is married to Cynthia Padgett and has three children: Logan, Lucas and Layla.
