Selawik Lake

Selawik Lake is a lake located 7 miles SW of Selawik, Alaska. It is long 31 miles across. Eskimo name first reported in 1842-44 by Lt. L. A. Zagoskin, IRN, who spelled it "Chilivik," and probably meant to apply to an Eskimo tribe or village.
