Senboku (仙北郡; -gun) is a district located in Akita, Japan.
In 2005, the district has an estimated population of 23,757 and a density of 141.58 persons per km². The total area is 167.80 km².
Towns and villages
Mergers
- On November 1, 2004 the towns Rokugou and Senhata and the village Sennan merged, forming the new town Misato.
- On March 22, 2005, the towns of Kamioka, Nishisenboku, Nakasen, Kyowa, Senboku, Ota, and the village of Nangai merged with the city of Omagari to form the new city of Daisen
- On September 202005, the towns of Kakunodate, Tazawako and the village of Nishiki merged to form the new city of Senboku
