Encyclopedia : S : SE : SEN : Sender Aholming
The Sender Aholming (transmitter Aholming) is a 500 kilowatt longwave broadcasting transmitter of the German Telekom Inc. for transmitting the program of "Deutschlandfunk" in Aholming, Germany. The transmission facility is similar to that of the longwave transmitter Donebach. As in Donebach, two grounded masts are used, in which the radio power is fed through the guys. However they are, because of the higher transmission frequency with a height of 265 metres much lower.
