Seta River

The is the principal river in the Osaka Prefecture of Honshu island, Japan. The source of the river is Lake Biwa in the Shiga Prefecture to the north. The Yodo river properly begins at the confluence of the Katsura, Uji and Kizu rivers. At the city of Osaka, the Yodo drains into Osaka Bay.
The Seta River proper begins at the southern outlet of Lake Biwa, in Otsu city. There is a dam here to regulate the lake level. Further downstream, the Seta merges with the Uji and other Rivers in Kyoto prefecture, and becomes the Yodo River, which flows south, through Osaka, and on into Osaka Bay.
