Situated next to Fort Meade and the NSA, Seven Oaks is one of the larger subdivisions in Odenton (MD). It covers more than 725 acres of land, and development began in 1987. The neighborhood includes a nature preserve, an elementary school, and a small shopping center. Upon completion, Seven Oaks will have approximately 4,000 residential units and 1.5 million square feet of retail, commercial and office space. (source: http://www.associawebsites.com/)
