The Shadwell Turf Mile is a race for thoroughbred horses. The Grade I race is ran every year at Keeneland. The race is set at a distance of one mile on the turf. The purse for the Shadwell Turf Mile is $600,000. The race is run during the fall meet and thus is a major prep for the Breeders' Cup Mile.
