Shannon Park is a former milatary community on the eastern shore of Halifax Harbour in the Halifax Regional Municipality Nova Scotia next to the A. Murray MacKay Bridge in Dartmouth.

Shannon Park is Part of CFB Halifax and was know as CFB Shannon Park were all the residents belonged to the Canadian Armed Forces. Since the the early 1990's all the residents moved out and part of the community is mostly civilian . The community is home to the Bedford Institute of Oceanography which is operated by the Canadian Coast Guard.
