Shiojiri (塩尻市; -shi) is a city located in Nagano, Japan.

As of 2003, the city has an estimated population of 65,031 and the density of 377.41 persons per km². The total area is 172.31 km².

The city was founded on April 1, 1959.

Shiojiri is a minor transport hub for central Japan, as it sits at the junction of road and rail routes to Nagano, Nagoya, and Tokyo. The Chuo Main Line, Chuo Expressway, and Nagano Expressway all run through Shiojiri.

Shiojiri is the location of the Hiraide ruins, one of the three largest ancient ruins in Japan. Artefacts from the Jomon period through the Heian period have been discovered there, as well as the remains of 47 ancient dwellings.
