- Shredder (TMNT) is also the name of the main adversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- A Shredder is a slang term used to refer to a guitarist who focuses on technically advanced playing.
- Shredding (tree pruning technique)
- A Shredder (boardsports) is one who is known to ride a snowboard, skateboard, surfboard, or any other board with good skill and some aggression.
