Sid Bass

Sidney Alan Bass (1943-). His father, Perry Bass(d. 2006), built on oil fortune inherited from uncle Sid Richardson (d. 1951). Handed business to son Sid in 1968, prompting younger son, Robert, to break out on his own. Investments include Hawthorne Financial, Iomega, oil and gas. Along with his brothers he is the largest shareholder in The Walt Disney Company.
