Sidney Coleman

Sidney Richard Coleman is an eminent theoretical physicist. He is professor emeritus at Harvard University and the author of the classic Aspects of Symmetry.
Coleman's former students include David Politzer, Lee Smolin, David Griffiths, Anthony Zee, Erick Weinberg, Paul Steinhardt and John Hagelin. Coleman studied under Murray Gell-Mann and got his PhD in 1962 at CalTech.
