Siemens Business Services GmbH & Co. OHG (SBS) is a service provider founded in 1995 and part of Siemens AG headquartered in Munich, Germany, which provides outsourcing services for many companies such as 3Com, Coca Cola, EMC2, and Microsoft. The company has offices in more than 40 countries, including the Philippines, Canada, United States of America and many other places. SBS provides complete solutions from call center services to logistics.
The present Group President is Dr. Christoph Kollatz.
Recent developments
On April 1, 2006 SBS sold its PRS (Product Related Services) division to Fujitsu Siemens Computers, a joint venture of Siemens and Fujitsu. On July 5, 2006, Siemens acknowledged a report by the German magazine Die Zeit that it will merge its two business units in a bid to meet 2007 financial targets[link].
