Silas Atopare

Sir Silas Atopare, GCMG (born 1951) was the Governor-General of Papua New Guinea from November 1997 until November 2003, preceding Sir Paulias Matane.

Sir Silas is a member Seventh-day Adventist Church. He was knighted in 1998.
