Simone Hines is an R&B/Pop singer who was signed to Epic records in the late 90s. Her self-titled debut album was released on September 16, 1997, its first single "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!" produced by award-winning producer Rodney Jerkins (Michael Jackson, Brandy, Jennifer Lopez, Chante Moore) reached No.38 on Billboard Magazine's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart. During that time she was also a background vocalist on albums by Michael Bolton and Puff Daddy's Grammy Award winning album No Way Out.
In 1998 she joined the Backstreet Boys for an appearance on Soul Train, as well as appeared on Soul Train Christmas Starfest compilation with Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross and James Brown. [link]
In 2005 Hines started work on a follow up album on an Independent record label. To date, she remains as an R&B one-hit wonder in America.
