Sisters of Providence

The Sisters of Providence are an order of Roman Catholic sisters founded in 1843 by Mother Emilie Gamelin. They are headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, and have missions in nations all over the world, including El Salvador, the Philippines, and the United States.

The Sisters of Providence founded, and remain in close association with, Providence Health System, Providence Services and a number of other commercial entities.
