Skookumchuck is a Canadian town in the Kootenay region of British Columbia, along Highway 95. It features fishing, canoeing, hiking, and nearby hot springs.
The unrelated marine tidal rapids at Skookumchuck Narrows are several hundred kilometres west on the province's Sunshine Coast. Both locations take their name from Chinook jargon for "large current."
