Skull-Kid (or Stalkids) are fictional characters from The Legend of Zelda series of video games. They wear clothes made from plants and sometimes masks. They have hair of leaves and a black face with two red eyes and a yellow beak. According to local folklore, whoever enters the forest will turn into a Stalfos (if an adult) and a Skullkid (if a child). In the manga, it tells of how the forest tricks human hearts into wandering the same paths over and over, and if the poor soul looses the sight of the exit, he or she will never return again. There is also talk in the The Legend of Zelda series manga of a Bagu tree, the rival to the Deku Tree, for whom the Skullkid works for. The most famous Skull-Kid was controlled by Majora's Mask. A skull kid has also been spotted in a trailer for .
