A Skullet is a variation of the mullet hairstyle. Someone wearing a skullet would have a shaved or bald head with long hair on the sides and in the back. The best known wearers of a skullet are probably Hulk Hogan, Devin Townsend from Strapping Young Lad and Ian Hill, the bassist of Judas Priest
The Khitans, a medieval people who established states in Northern China and Central Asia, were known for their distictive skullet hairstyle. Similar hairstyles were also sported by the Xianpi ancestors of the Khitans and the Tanguts, who during the Tang and Song dynasty were ruled by clans descended from the Xianpi clan of Tuoba.
