Sloan Wainwright is an artist and member of the American independent music scene. Wainwright is best known for her intensely personal lyrics, innovative approach to song and relationship with brother Loudon Wainwright III. Her musical stlye consists of a combination of folk, rock, jazz, and blues, an approach which owes itself to her time writing and performing throughout the Greenwich Village in New York City.

Family

Sloan Wainwright is the youngest sister of Loudon Wainwright III and aunt of Martha Wainwright and Rufus Wainwright.
