Smithers Airport, , is located 2.0 nautical miles (3.70 km) north of Smithers, British Columbia, Canada.
Runways
Currently the runway is 5,000ft (1,524 m), but plans are underway to expand it to 7,500ft (2,286 m) so that the airport can land larger aircraft. The extension is scheduled to be completed by late 2006 or early 2007 and is due to the local ski areas planned expansion. There would then be a requirement for a runway capable of landing Regional airliners larger than the current Boeing 737 aircraft.Airlines
- Air Canada Jazz (Vancouver)
- Central Mountain Air (Terrace, Prince George)
- Northern Thunderbird Air (Dease Lake)
