Smooth Snake

The Smooth Snake (Coronella austriaca) is a non-venomous snake. It is widely distributed across mainland Europe; also southern England, southern Scandinavia; less common in southern Iberian peninsula; not on Mediterranean islands except Sicily. It is also found in western Asia.
