Snaga was an Orc of Barad Dur in the Lord of the Rings series and was under the command of Shagrat, an Uruk-Hai. He first appeared in Cirth Ungol after the Orc's battle and appeared to be the only Orc besides Shagrat which had survived the struggle. Snaga died while fighting Sam, shortly after whipping Frodo Baggins, who he held captive. In his haste to escape Sam Gamgee, he tripped down the ladder of a trapdoor and broke his neck.

The word "snaga" may not be his name at all, but a general derogatory term used in address, as this was the Black Speech word for "slave."
