Sochaczew

Sochaczew - a town in central Poland, with 38,300 inhabitants (2004).
Situated in the Masovian Voivodship (since 1999), previously in Skierniewice Voivodship (1975-1998). It is the capital of Sochaczew County.
Sochaczew has a narrow-gauge railway museum with a line that runs out as far as Wilcze Tułowskie. Steam trains run on the line on Saturdays from spring to the end of summer. Although the line is 750mm gauge, there are a number of static exhibits in the museum of narrower and broader gauge.
