Soha Bechara

Soha Bechara is a female Lebanese Christian who was in the Lebanese Communist Party. At the age of nineteen, she attempted a failed assassination of the leader of the Israeli-backed militia, Antoine Lahad. She was imprisoned in the infamous detention centre of Khiam for 10 years, where she became a symbol of the fight against occupation and oppression. She wrote about her life in Resistante.
