Sokal (Ukrainian: Сокаль, translit. Sokal’) is a city located on the banks of the Buh River in the Lviv Oblast of western Ukraine. Serving as the administrative center of the Sokalsky Raion (district), the city itself is also designated as a separate raion within the oblast. It is located at around [50°28′60″N, 24°16′60″E].

The current estimated population is around 21,700 (as of 2001).
