In astronomy, the solar radius is a unit of length used to express the size of stars and larger objects such as galaxies. It is equal to the radius of the Sun. Its value is:

[r_ = 6.960\times 10^8\hbox = 0.00465247\hbox]
The solar radius is about 110 times the radius of the Earth.
