Son in Law is a 1993 film starring Pauly Shore, Carla Gugino, Lane Smith, Cindy Pickett and Tiffani Thiessen.

Plot

After graduating as her class' valedictorian, Rebecca Warner (Gugino), a South Dakota farm girl decides to attend college in Los Angeles, but learns the kids in L.A. are a bit different. Warner then wants to go back home, but is stopped by Crawl. resident advisor Crawl (Shore)then gives Rebecca an L.A. makeover. Months later, Rebecca and Crawl are the best of friends, and nearing thanksgiving. After learning Crawl will be alone at school during the Thanksgiving break, Rebecca decides to take him with her.
