Encyclopedia : S : SO : SOP : Sopa de pata
Sopa de pata is a hearty Salvadoran soup that is similar to Mexican pozole. It has cow's feet (hoof) as its main ingredient. It is believed to be a cure for hang-overs, and thus it is traditionally eaten and sold after festive occasions (on December 25th and January 1st, for example).
