Soul Man was a hit song by Sam & Dave in 1967 and the Blues Brothers in 1979 and has inspired the names of:
Soul Man, a television sitcom starring Dan Aykroyd as Mike Weber, an Episcopal priest and widowed father of four children. Mike Weber also has a "dark" past in a motorcycle gang, and remains a motorcycle enthusiast. Soul Man was a spin-off the sitcom Home Improvement. The show lasted one season in 1997.

Soul Man is a movie starring C. Thomas Howell created in 1986 involving transracial transformation via pills so a student could qualify for an affirmative action type scholarship at Harvard Law School.
