Sports Tonight is a sports information program shown on
Network Ten in
Australia. The program is broadcast on Monday-Thursday at 10.30pm (combined with
Ten News), Friday at 12.20am (Late Edition) and Saturday-Sunday at 5.30pm (Weekend Edition). The program provides up-to-date sports scores and team and player information for all codes of football and different sports across Australia. During winter (
AFL/
NRL seasons) the program does differ from state to state depending on that states stronghold. The show has been running for over 10 years and before
2006 ran for half an hour on each weeknight instead of being combined with
Ten's Late News. There has been criticism by viewers that Sports Tonight is not long enough.
