Springvale is a suburb of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia about 25 km SE of the city. The local government area is the City of Greater Dandenong. Springvale is the host to a multitude of different nationalities. It has a strong Vietnamese influence and is the former site of a migrant hostel. Other suburbs of Melbourne which are also referred to similarly are the nearby Clayton, Victoria, and Glen Waverley, Victoria.
