Spy-fi is a fan name for television series and movies - especially those from the 1960s - that blend the espionage genre with elements of science fiction.
Famous examples include:
- The James Bond films, in particular You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever, Moonraker and the unofficial 1967 version of Casino Royale
- Dean Martin's Matt Helm series of films.
- A large majority of popular ITC Entertainment shows fall into the genre of Spy-Fi, most notably The Prisoner, Department S and Jason King.
The Spy-fi genre can also be found in anime series as well. Relatively known, mostly in Japan, are:
- Najica Blitz Tactics
- Agent Aika, though this is less obvious.
