St. Albans New York is a subsection of Southeastern Queens. It is surrounded by Cambria Heights, Hollis, Springfeild Gardens and Queens Village. It's primary ethnic make up is of African Americans and Caribbean Americans. St.Albans was the Home to many Black Celebrities in the 50's 60's and 70's. These celebrities are noted on a famous mural underneath a Long Island railroad station on Linden Blvd. They include James Brown, Jackie Robinson and Billie Holiday.
