St. Reparata
Encyclopedia : S : ST : STR : St. Reparata
St. Reparata was a 3d‑century Christian virgin and martyr, possibly mythical, of Caesarea in Palestine. She is said to have been beheaded at age 11 in the Decian persecution. Her feast is celebrated in the Roman Catholic church on October 8. She is the patron saint of Nice and a co-patron saint of Florence. A number of churches and places, mostly in Italy, are thus named for her: see Santa Reparata.
