Stagecoach is a 1939 western film about a motley group of strangers thrown together on the stagecoach to Lordsburg, which is attacked by Apache warriors. It stars Claire Trevor and John Wayne in the role that made him a star.
The screenplay is an adaptation of 'The Stage to Lordsburg', a short story by Ernest Haycox.
