Stapleton, Alabama is a small community in north Baldwin County with a population of 1500. There are four churches in Stapleton. There are two gas stations, one guitar shop, one Dollar General, a car dealership, a place that sells girls' clothing, and one red light. There is a bluegrass festival held at Stapleton Elementary School every fall.

Stapleton has recently been considered for incorporation with the city of Loxley, the second largest city in the county by square miles, and Bay Minette which has had many growth spurts in the last few years making it the third largest city in the county with a population of 12,990.
