Star-Lord

Star-Lord is a fictional character published by Marvel Comics. He debuted in Marvel Preview #4 (1975). He was created by writer Steve Englehart and artist Steve Gan.

Star-Lord is Peter Quill, a former astronaut who was the son of Meredith Quill, an Earth woman, and Jason, emperor of the Spartoi, an alien humanoid civilization. As Star-Lord, Quill possesses augmented strength and resiliency and controls an "element gun", a pistol capable of conjuring one of the four elements. He is also psychically linked to his starship, which is a living entity.
